Our Robot
Above is what we call the grabber. The grabber is the part of the robot that attaches onto the top bar during the end game to complete our pull up.
Pictured to the left is the final of our seven drive train configurations. It uses custom metal cut pieces that allow great contact to our axles. It also uses Intralox treads as the main portion of the drive train.
Above is the G6 of our climbing mechanism. G6 stands for Generation 6. We have had great evolution with the climbing assembly. From no tilt at all to almost 20 degrees of tilt. It uses our custom built tape holder and inner workings of the tape dispenser as well to surmount to the high goal.
This is our mechanism for delivering the mountain climbers into the beacon bucket.
These rather simple looking wings serve a huge purpose of tripping the climber string. There is one on each side, and they are invaluable to our overall game plan.
These two hooks are used to hold our robot on a specific churro while we reconfigure our tape measure device.
Above is our new streamlined electronics from this year in which we cleaned up our wires. We did this to ensure that the wires would not snap or get caught while running the robot.
